MEET DEB

Deb is the President and Founder of ICG Strategies, a boutique firm that facilitates inquiry, change, and growth in communities, groups, and teams. Deb is passionate about building community, and her work centers on facilitating multi-sector collaboration to achieve a common purpose.
Deb nurtures groups of all sizes – from broad community outreach endeavors to intimate team-building retreats. Her expertise includes in-person, virtual, and hybrid modalities to meet the today's needs. Through her work, Deb focuses on discovering common ground among stakeholders while also probing how individual assumptions can impact decisions, and how these decisions affect the world around us.
Deb thrives in the gray space of intersectionalities, and works with groups to connect dots between and among varying viewpoints. She is especially talented in conceptualizing and executing innovative, transformative, and award-winning programs. Ask her about the Gentrification Fishbowl or EnVision OKC when you get in touch!

When working with groups, Deb offers deep experience in and sensitivity to noticing the unspoken dynamics in the room, artfully bringing them to the surface, and enabling a group to confront and work through these dynamics to reach new levels of understanding and introspection. She has been known to specialize in "holding up a mirror" to help participants view issues in a new light. She is passionate about making space for the things that are hard to discuss, and nurturing those conversations in a way that has a deep impact.

In addition to her mastery of facilitation, Deb also has professional expertise in such areas as:

Community and civic engagement
